Mint Velvet – Welcome to the family!

Mint Velvet has come a long way since it was the seed of an idea hatched by three friends sitting around a kitchen table drinking mint tea back in 2009.

After years of not finding what they wanted to wear on the high street, Mint Velvet co-founders (and good friends) Liz, Lisa, and Jane wanted luxurious, effortless pieces they could just slip on, nodding to the trends in a relaxed way. And so the concept of Relaxed Glamour – and Mint Velvet – way born.

Well over a decade later Mint Velvet is known for easy shapes, beautiful prints and flattering fits, all with thoughtful finishing touches. After all, in their words, “it’s the little things that make life lovely, so you should never underestimate the power of a great outfit on a bad day.”

Sustainability is also a core element of how Mint Velvet operates. As co-founder and CEO, Liz Houghton, says: “We care about our people and planet, which is why we’re making it our mission to improve key areas of our business for a better tomorrow. We know there is much we can do, and believe it is our responsibility to use our success as a force for good.”

We’re hugely excited to be working with Mint Velvet as they embark on this new chapter. What they’ve achieved in a relatively short space of time is a testament to their drive and character. We can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next and we’re glad to be along for the ride.
