Sitoo has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2020 Retail Systems Awards.

Now in its 15th year, the Retail Systems Awards bring together the brightest and best brands working in retail technology to celebrate success and innovation. Sitoo has been shortlisted for both the Point of Sale Technology of the Year award and the In-Store Innovation of the Year award (together with Daniel Wellington and Happy Socks).

The Point of Sale Technology of the Year award – a new award for 2020 – is open to providers of point of sale technology that are doing something new – be that making better use of customer data, speeding up the checkout process, or improving loyalty with promotions during payment. Judges are looking for genuine innovation in this busy space, preferably with retailer case studies both in pilot and practice.

The In-Store Innovation of the Year award recognises a retailer who has implemented an innovative piece of in-store technology within its retail estate. This could range from a new point of sale system, self-checkout service, kiosk, touchscreen or mobile till point, to virtual fitting room technology, targeted marketing or an in-store customer ordering and collection feature. The winning entry will be able to demonstrate how such technology has improved the company’s business, along with the degree of innovation present in the IT solution.

Sitoo is delighted to have made the shortlist of both awards, which come fast on the heels of the company’s international expansion and the opening of its UK office.

The awards are currently scheduled to take place on October 19, 2020 at the Waldorf Hilton in London.
