Sitoo on the shortlist again at the RTIH Innovation Awards
For the third year in a row Sitoo has been shortlisted in two categories for the RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards celebrate the great and the good in the world of retail tech with the organizer’s saying: “We received a record number of submissions this year and many fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times.”
Sitoo has been shortlisted in the following categories:
Technology Implementation of the Year. This award recognizes rest of world retail technology project excellence, both in delivery and outcomes.
Sitoo has been shortlisted for the implementation project carried out together with US sports chain, Rally House, which saw Sitoo rolled out and implemented in close to 200 stores in less than four months.
Speaking about how successful the implementation was, Dane Lickteig, Netsuite Architect and Administrator at Rally House, said: “Implementing a new POS is a huge project. It usually requires a whole bunch of different things and processes to be reconfigured so it can work. But it amazed me that, honestly, there was no reconfiguring of our internal processes with Sitoo. It really was plug and play. We didn’t have to change any of our processes to fit in with Sitoo’s and that’s just crazy to me.”
Omnichannel Retail Initiative of the Year. This award will go to a tech centric approach to retail that provides customers with a fully integrated shopping experience across bricks and mortar stores, online, mobile, and everything in between.
Sitoo has been shortlisted with LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW who use the Sitoo POS and Unified Commerce Platform to create positive shopping experiences every time and everywhere. LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW chose to invest in best-in-class tech like Sitoo because they have embraced the MACH concept and made the decision to move from an on premise, monolithic platform to a best-of-breed, API-driven approach
Sitoo co-founder and CEO, Jens Levin, says: “Rally House and LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW are two retailers who believe passionately in innovation and technology. I’m delighted the work we’ve carried out with these two exceptional brands has been recognized.
“Innovation and experimentation are crucial to the future of any retail organization. The role of technology should be to help retailers to offer seamless transactional experiences while incorporating brand discovery and storytelling. It all comes down to removing friction and adding convenience for the consumer.
“That’s why we make a product that helps retailers work smarter, put their customers first, empower their store associates, and deliver knock-out experiences every single time.”
The winners will be revealed at the 2023 RTIH Innovation Awards ceremony, which will take place at the Barbican Centre in central London on Wednesday, November 29.
