Sitoo shortlisted in prestigious global retail technology award
The RTIH Innovation Awards bring together the brightest and best brands working in retail technology to celebrate global tech innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Sitoo has been shortlisted in two categories:
- Global technology implementation of the year, together with one of Europe’s leading high-end fashion retailers, Gina Tricot. The award recognizes global retail technology project excellence, both in delivery and outcomes.
- Best coronavirus innovation, together with one of the UK’s most historic boutiques fashion brands, Sunspel. This award recognize the company who has best turned to technology to solve the challenges presented by the Covid-19 era, improving in-store and/or online experiences for both staff and customers.
Sitoo is delighted to have made the shortlist of these awards, which comes hot on the heels of the company’s recognition in the 2021 Gartner® Market Guide for Unified Commerce Platforms Anchored by POS for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Retailers.
“This is a testament to our hard work and the commitment we make to our customers,” says Isabell Aakervik, Chief Partner & Marketing Officer at Sitoo. “By embracing digital transformation Gina Tricot has been able to go from strength to strength achieving amazing things with our solution – whether that’s empowering their store associates with unified commerce capabilities to deliver the cross-channel shopping experience their customers want.”
The implementation of the Sitoo POS and Unified Commerce Platform is being hailed as a true game changer by Gina Tricot.
Earlier this year Sitoo took the prize for Best In-store Innovation of the Year (recognizing the relationship between Sitoo and Tiger of Sweden and By Marlene Birger ) and also won the award for Best Omnichannel Solution of the Year, at the prestigious Retail Systems Awards 2021.
“Being recognized at awards like these is an incredible testament to the dedication, hard work and commitment of our team,” says Jens Levin, Sitoo CEO and co-founder. “Like everyone in retail, the past eighteen months has thrown all kinds of challenges at us. But we’ve adapted, we’ve overcome and we’ve always kept faith in our mission.
“We’ve seen how important cutting-edge technology is for retailers who are serious about success. Retail is always going to be in a state of constant change. What the best technology solutions do is allow retailers to keep pace with this change and meet the expectations of their customers.”
The awards are scheduled to take place on 8th December, in London.
