Sitoo makes the shortlist in two categories at the RTIH Innovation Awards

For the second year running, Sitoo has been shortlisted in two categories for the RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards, now in their fourth year, recognize the standout examples of innovation and technology in the retail sector. The 2022 edition saw a record number of submissions received with the organizers saying it demonstrates “the fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times.”

Sitoo has been shortlisted in the following categories:

Technology Implementation of the Year. This award recognizes rest of world retail technology project excellence, both in delivery and outcomes.

Sitoo has been shortlisted for the implementation project carried out together with premium outdoor fashion brand, Norrøna, who opened ten new stores alone in 2021. Norrøna needed to find a POS and unified commerce platform capable of scaling with the business, that would make life easier for store associates, and would be compliant across different markets – and Sitoo was the answer. Other brands shortlisted for this award include NOBULL and Walmart.

Bricks and Mortar Innovation. This award will go to a company or companies enabling physical spaces to thrive via innovative technology, even as online shopping continues to grow. The judges are looking for examples of reducing friction in the customer journey, offering improved experiences, and blurring the lines between channels.

Sitoo has been shortlisted with Nudie Jeans who use the Sitoo POS and Unified Commerce Platform to connect its physical and online sales channels. Nudie Jeans chose to invest in best-in-class tech like Sitoo because it helps make the brand’s vision – of combining people, product, and purpose – a reality.

The winners of the awards will be announced at an exclusive ceremony taking place in the heart of London on December 6th.
